Hammond's Flycatcher Empidonax hammondii

Hammond's Flycatcher
Hammond's Flycatchers (Empidonax hammondii) breed in northwestern North America, from Alaska to northern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. They winter in the highlands of Mexico and northern Central America. In the highlands of Guatemala, Hammond's Flycatcher is the most common of the wintering Epidonax species. The first individuals show up in Guatemala already in August.
